The objectives of this internship which was carried out within the
EXCEL INGENIERIEL design office are carrying out a study
hydrological and hydraulic of a watershed and the
determination of flood zones in order to protect the sites
vulnerable to flooding.
In order to meet these objectives, three main parts have been
defined. First, the delimitation and determination of
characteristics of the watershed using the software
Autocad which aims to extract the sub-basins and trace the
hydrographic network.
The second part is the hydraulic study which aims to
forecasting flood flows for different return periods, and applying different theoretical formulas for calculating peak flow.
Finally, the last part is one-dimensional modeling
and two-dimensional flow in the area studied by the
HEC-RAS hydrodynamic platformes.
